Robin Rothstein
Partner, CFO & COO; Head of Compliance
Robin is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of GiantLeap Capital and is responsible for the firm’s compliance program. Robin brings more than 25 years of experience in the alternative asset management industry, with deep expertise spanning investment management operations, finance, compliance and risk management. She is a seasoned business growth strategist with a proven record of building and scaling institutional investment firms while navigating complex regulatory environments.
Prior to GiantLeap, Robin founded R2 Fractional Fund Services, a consulting firm that provided tailored fractional CFO and COO services to venture capital and private equity managers, delivering strategies that enabled firms to scale efficiently while mitigating risks.
Previously, Robin was a Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Taconic Capital, a global multi–billion–dollar alternative investment manager. During her twelve-year tenure, she played a central role in the firm’s expansion from inception to peak assets under management of $12 billion across multiple investment strategies. Robin oversaw global operations, finance, risk management, and regulatory compliance, and chaired the firm’s Counterparty Risk Committee. She also served on key leadership committees, including Business Continuity and Cybersecurity Earlier in her career, Robin served as Chief Financial Officer of Winslow Partners, where she was instrumental in the launch of a $30M private equity fund in the Czech Republic. She also held the role of Corporate Controller at Capital Multimedia, where she supported the company’s IPO and M&A transactions.
